Charity organisation visits Tsakane Old Age Home

Tsakane – The We Can Do This community project donated 31 pairs of socks to the elderly people at the Tsakane Old Age Home on July 6.
The project was established in 2015 by Matshidiso Silinda from Tsakane Extension 12 as part of giving back to the community.
“We decided to spend the day with the pillars of our community, to show them they are not forgotten and we still care and love them.

“The socks are to keep them warm during these cold times, and something for them to remember us with,” says Matshidiso.
Tsakane Old Age Home manager Phoko Mokubung says: “We are extremely happy because we didn’t have enough socks and it’s very cold.
“We cannot stress the importance of having the community visit the elderly and spending time with them.”
