Praise Festival a huge success

Praise Festival 2018 is set to be the first of many by Taba Media, in KwaThema

KwaThema – Taba Media successfully had their first Praise Festival at the New Covenant Christian Centre last Saturday.

The hall was abuzz from start to finish, as the many praise and worship artists took to the stage.

“Our aim is to instil the culture of unity among our local gospel musicians.

“And to bring all of them in one room in appreciation of what the Lord has done for his people through Jesus on the cross,” explains Timothy Sibanyoni, co-founder of Taba Media.

He says the Praise Festival 2018 was an introduction of great festivals to follow, specifically for gospel music that will reach not only the church but all people.

On the programme were the likes of Priscilla Mahamba, Sifiso Mbatha, Nompumelelo Mtsweni and Mbali Mokhele of Joyous Celebration.

“Our slogan says ‘Changing the atmosphere through praise’, so that’s the main point.

“We are working on Praise Festival tours for all over SA and also building towards Praise Festival 2019.”

Sibanyoni adds that the bigger picture, for them, is to grow in community building projects.

“We want to make a difference in our country through ministry, as a church.

“God has called the church to make a difference or to show his power to people of all nations.

“We don’t want to limit God in anything he would want to do through the Praise Festival,” he explains.

Taba Media has intentions of producing content for television.

“We are young entrepreneurs who have the capacity to create work for many other people as well.

“As we go, we also want to adopt homes and orphanages as a practical act of us making a difference.”
