Jwaga records second live DVD in KwaThema
Xolani Jwaga set to record his DVD, Worship Out of Your Desert, live on June 1.
KwaThema – Born in a family of great singers, Xolani Jwaga continues to pursue his calling as a worship singer.
But his life used to be very different.
“I was living a careless life that did not glorify God and I used to be a drunkard and a thief.
“My grandmother was a staunch member of the Assemblies of God and she forced me to go to church.”

He says that is where he became fascinated by drums and he joined the choir.
“The more I went to church, the more I got excited by the things of God until I totally surrendered my life to Him.”
He also obtained a diploma in Human Resources from Tshwane University of Technology.
Xolani says some of his greatest achievements include performing at the ANC 100 years celebration at Mangaung with Amandla Cultural Ensemble.
He has shared a stage with some of South Africa’s great artists, Donald, Solly Mahlangu, Hlengiwe Mhlaba and Benjamin Dube, amongst others.

“I believe I make a huge impact and touches lives through the unique way of interpreting a song, and a kind of a militant prophetic worship.”
On his previous recording, Hosana, he worked with a great team of local talented individuals, which was a two-day sold out event.
Xolani says Hosana is an invitation to deepen our relationship with God.
“Hosana is an amazing collection of songs which are designed to usher the listener into the presence of the Living God.
“This is me saying I worship God in spirit and in truth.”
Xolani Jwaga will record his second live DVD at KwaThema on June 1.
