Zaza Mokhethi nominanted for award in UK
This year is the year of big reveals, revelations and milestones for KwaThema born worshipper Zaza Mokhethi.
KwaThema – She has been nominated for an African Gospel Music and Media Award 2018 UK.
The Diphiri singer is nominated in the Artist of Excellence category alongside local and international stars.

“To be nominated for these prestigious awards is a big thing for me.
“I thank God for his perfect timing as this nomination comes just when I am celebrating my 40th birthday, 20 years of marriage and 10 years in the music industry professionally, while also having recently witnessed my album Blowing the Horn of Chronicle (Live) going gold.”
Recorded live at the Soweto Theatre in 2016, Blowing the Horn of Chronicles continues to gain new followers in spite of the many challenges Mokhethi has as an independent artist.

“This is indeed God’s hand in the driving seat.
“I am grateful for all the milestones I am continuously achieving this year,” an elated Mokhethi said.
Mokhethi, who is nominated alongside Dr Tumi, Ntokozo Mbambo, Nqubeko Mbatha, Judith Sephuma, Benjamin Dube and Lebo Sekgopela among others, said she is deeply honoured.
“These are powerhouses and to be nominated with them is an honour and I give glory to God for this recognition,” she enthuses.
The winners of AGMMA awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held at London Arts and Music Main Auditorium, in East London, England, on June 2.
Mokhethi has decided to celebrate this great achievement in her hometown while helping to elevate artists in eKasi.
She will be giving a performance of her old time favourite hits o May 26 at the Springs Theatre.
