Tsakane’s Bontle taking on Miss Eagle SA

Bontle Deborah Lehleleroa’s (19) dream of becoming Miss Eagle South Africa 2018 may become a reality with your help.

Tsakane – The first year marketing and finance student says the crown will help her become the role model she has always wanted to be.

“I believe that when I win, it won’t just be for me but my whole community.

“I want to show everyone, especially my parents, that one can make a living in this industry.”

Last month the pageant queen organised her first competition.

“I put together Mr and Miss Face of Tsakane to encourage the next generation of talent to pay attention.

“The only way that people will take us seriously is by taking ourselves seriously.”

She says the event was a success.

Bontle has made it past the first round of selection for Miss Eagle SA.

“We all started as contestants, but now I am a brand ambassador.”

If she makes it through to the next round, she will become a finalist.

Bontle is also a brand ambassador for East Rand Classics, a community movement founded by Thabang Sibeko.

“I need my community’s support.

“This is not just a competition about beauty but about how people perceive you,” she adds.

She says if she wins, she wants to enter Miss World 2019.

“I really want to take this as far as I possibly can.”
