KwaThema- It is alleged the trio targets residents walking in the street and strip them of their valuables.
KwaThema police spokesperson, Captain Thabo Sibuyi, says on February 9 they received a complaint from a resident who was attacked during the afternoon.

“The complainant was walking home at around 3pm when he was approached by the trio.
“They started assaulting him and took his bag, cellphone and clothes.
“We received another complaint from a man who was attacked by the trio.
“They struck his head with an object and he fell to the ground.
“They took his branded jeans, shoes and cellphones,” he says.

Sibuyi says in another case the three men attacked a hawker.
“It is alleged they approached him from behind and attacked him.
“They took his days profit and left him dizzy fighting for his life.
“One of the men is known as Bongani,” he says.
Sibuyi says they are pleading to the residents to help them track down the whereabouts of the suspects.
“With your help, we will be able to put them away and keep the streets safe,” he says.
