KwaThema – A 33-year-old woman was hijacked at gunpoint in her yard in Kubheka Street on Friday.
It is alleged the victim arrived home from work in the evening and was shocked when she was approached by three men.
KwaThema police spokesperson, Captain Thabo Sibuyi, says it is alleged the one suspect – who was carrying a firearm – asked the woman if she was alone inside the house.
“She told the men she was alone so the other two went inside the garage. The other one waited at the gate to guard.
“The pair came out of the house and got inside the vehicle and drove off.
“No shots were fired during the incident and no arrests have been made; however the vehicle was later found in Tsakane on the same day.
