Calling Mr/Miss Tsakane 2017/18 hopefuls

Calling all Mr and Miss Tsakane 2017/18 hopefuls to step forward and battle it out for the crown.

Tsakane – Calling all Mr and Miss Tsakane 2017/18 hopefuls to step forward and battle it out for the crown.

Emma-Jane Lefuwa (22), Miss Ekurhuleni East 2016, says it takes patience to craft something good, even in a pageant.

“It is not just about beauty, but brains, courage and a heart for people as well.”

Emma-Jane hopes to get exposure from being a contestant in the competition.

“Hopefully it will help me to land a huge modelling gig, and to set a good example to others.”

Phumla Masondo (21) believes taking part in pageants has boosted her self-confidence.

“Modelling has gone from being a small passion to something I want to pursue full time.

And now I believe in myself enough to take the big leap.”

Mojalifa Mnguni (24) says he used the competition as an opportunity to learn as much as he could about the industry.

He has always been passionate about fitness and healthy living.

“Now I want my body to work for me,” he explains.

He says his ultimate goal is to model and walk the stages of the Johannesburg Fashion Week.
