Parents encouraged to register learners for extra lessons

KwaThema - The Ntsane Masiloane School Enrichment Programmes (NMSEP) officially commenced with its maths and science tutoring lessons last Saturday.

This was done at one of its centres, run from the Kenneth Masikela Secondary School.

The learners who gathered for these lessons are from various schools around Kwatsaduza.

“Learners received the project well and were excited with the teaching methods we implemented in their lessons.

“One of these key methods involves the one-on-one sessions during teaching and learning, which the learners seem to enjoy.

“One of our main objectives is to include arts in the programme, to make it fun. So far it is going well, as learners are allowed to choose their arts interest and showcase their creative side,” says founder Ntsane Masiloane.

Grade 10 learner Mandisa Xaba says: “I’m happy to have joined this programme because it is teaching me a lot of things that I didn’t know.

“The tutors are very kind and are able to go the extra mile to ensure that we understand the work.”

Space is still available and parents of learners who wish to join the programme are encouraged to enrol them in the programme.
