The final year end function was held at the school premises.
School principal Nomsa Sobende explains that the awards are for recognising excellence and hard work of learners.

They also not only expose intelligent learners, but serve as feedback to the parents of the children.
Furthermore, they are reflective of those who’ve contributed to the vision and the mission of the Department of Education and the school.
“We congratulate all the learners who’ve done well and to those who haven’t, we hope they work harder next year,” she says.

Obakeng Pule, who’s in grade six, received the principal’s prestige award for the achievement of the most awards.
