A carnival to celebrate Heritage Day
KwaThema – Young people from Move for Transformation Ministries celebrated Heritage Day in style.
The group of over 190 performers participated in the Gauteng Carnival which was held in Pretoria on Saturday.
Project leader of the team, Mandla ‘Ignition TLK’ Namo, says that the carnival was impressive and went well.
“It was a great experience for our young people, they gave it their all and made a big mark.
“In future, I hope that they can be selected again for such initiatives.
“On Friday, some of our young performers will again perform at the Lukas van der Berg Stadium in Pretoria for the Cool Cats Kasi Tour which is another great success for us,” Namo says.
He adds that this tour will rotate to different locations every Friday and during these shows, performers from Move for Transformation Ministries will be doing a drama, have choir performances, social activities and motivational talks while Namo will be DJing, dancing and singing.
Local pastor Meisi Nong will be a guest speaker and will talk on issues affecting young people.
