Temporary home gets help

Tsakane - A company based in the Springs CBD donated some much-needed essentials to a local children’s shelter.

The donation was handed over in Extension 19 last Monday, as part of the Mandela Day celebrations.

“Our company normally donates food to the shelter on Thursdays and Fridays, weekly.

“As part of our Mandela Day celebrations, however, we opted to do more, hence we also painted for them, and donated a washing machine, groceries and clothing.

“We hope these basics will really help, seeing that the shelter is in need,” says Fainty Moagi from the company.

The staff further spent the day with the children and helped with the cleaning of the premises.
