Five-A-Side ends in draw

The game took place on Saturday at the KwaThema Sports Complex.

The fast-paced game kept both sides in high fighting spirits, as all players were eager to take the lead, but spectacular saves from keepers and moves by other players ensured the first half ended goalless.

Supporters kept the faith though, as they watched on the sidelines, patiently waiting for goals to start pouring in.

Within the first five minutes of the second half Abafana Bes’Thende made their presents felt, with Gugu Nkocy (20) scoring the opening goal.

The victory was, however, short-lived when their opponents snuck in an equalising goal struck by Boss Nkosi (20).

As the final whistle blew the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
