According to police spokesman W/O David Mphali, the woman claims she was on her way to her boyfriend’s house when she was approached by two men who then assaulted her.
“One of the suspects put his hand over her mouth and told her not to make a sound,” he says.
They dragged her to Marikana Section where both suspects raped her and left her there.
She was assisted by a man who gave her shelter for the evening and accompanied her to the police station on Sunday to report the incident.
Mphali says they are looking for the two suspects who are about 35 years old.
