With two excellent actors – Anna Hathaway and Robert de Niro – this was bound to be a hit, one which I can recommend for those weekends when you just don’t want to get out of your pjs.

Add to this the pen (direction and production) of Nancy Meyers – who also wrote, directed and produced Something’s Gotta Give and The Holiday – and you won’t be sorry you picked this one up.

Jules (Hathaway) runs and internet clothing site offering women a fab range of clothes, bought online, in the perfect styles and colours.

Add to this a range that promises something for every occasion in a line of clothes guaranteed to fit, without having to fight your way through crowded malls and battle in tiny change rooms with unflattering lighting, and you have the recipe for a winning business.

When Ben (de Niro), a retired businessman in his ’70s, starts at her company as part of a senior (read older people) intern programme, Jules goes out of her way to have as little to do with him as possible.

In fact, her way of dealing with the seniors is simply to ignore them.

That is until she sees the wisdom in taking advice from her wise intern.

Add to this a dash of wit and a soupcon of humour and Jules has the perfect ally to help get both her business and her marriage back on a winning track.

It’s warm and fluffy, sans any sexual content, and the perfect cure for a stressful week or a light night’s entertainment.
