Local boxers win
KwaThema - Geo Maroon boxers Xolani Mvubu and Ronney Chiloane won their fights last Friday in Kibler Park, Johannesburg.
Mvubu, who won on points, will now fight for the World Boxing Federation (WBF) title.
“It wasn’t easy but my hard work really has paid off and now I’ll be preparing for the WBF title,” says the boxer.
Coach Themba Zulu says he is proud of his two boxers who put all their time into training and making sure they win their fights.
“I never doubted that they would win the fights, it all showed in their commitment and training regime that they are were hungry for victory,” says Zulu.
