Your life is special, make it count!

Success is not something that happens to you; it is something that happens because of actions you take. People who refuse to take responsibility do not do well in the game of success. Those who do not want to take full responsibility always settle for less in life as they do as little as possible to avoid mistakes and criticism should things go wrong.

This is mediocrity. Most people decide to live under the radar, as it is comfortable there because they are not seen. The fact of life is that if you risk nothing; you will do nothing; you will say nothing and ultimately you will be nothing. This simply means that you will have no impact in the world and your life will count for nothing.

I like what Nelson Mandela said: “After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.” When I first heard these words, I said: “Wow!” So, always strive to get on top in life because it is the bottom that is overcrowded. It is because you are at the bottom that you don’t see other opportunities in life.

We all have challenges that we fear but face them as if your life depends on them because ultimately it does and you will be surprised at how beautiful life turns out to be. It is said that when you die God will not ask you why you didn’t become a billionaire, a doctor, an engineer or had this or that degree, but will ask you a simple question: “Why did you settle for so little when I gave you so much, so many possibilities?”
