Ace Auto Ayoba play 4-2 against Bolivia

KwaThema – Ace Auto Ayoba will play in a replay match for the second weekend in a row, after its match against Bolivia was again cancelled due to heavy rain and strong wind.

The SAB League match was played at the KwaThema Stadium on Sunday and had seen the home off to a good start as in the first 30 minutes Oscar Methula (21) put Ace Auto Ayoba in the lead with a goal.

Bongani Zwane (27) of Bolivia missed out a crucial shot that could have helped them equalise a few minutes after the home team had scored. However, Ace Auto Ayoba made sure that they did not waste time extending their lead with Ronnie Maseko (23) adding the second goal.

As it started to rain, play carried on, and as the first half drew to an end, Ace Auto Ayoba was in the lead with two goals.

Five minutes into the second half saw Ayoba’s Andile Foto (24) put the ball into the net, the third goal which helped extend the home teams lead.

Shorty after that as supporters rejoiced in song Arol Mafokane (26) put Ayoba’s fourth goal into the net for his team and at this point it really seemed unstoppable.

The home team relaxed a bit, but due to a foul, the referee ruled for Bolivia to get a penalty kick that was taken by Bongani Zwane (25) who was able to score for his team.

Less than five minutes after that Lehlohonolo Dhlamini (20) registered Bolivia’s second goal.

As the rain increased, 15 minutes before the end of the match, officials decided to stop the game as conditions proved unbearable for players.
