Tin craft for children

Children can easily become bored and, during the school holidays, tin craft can be exciting for both girls and boys.

There are holiday gifts children can make from empty tins and gift wrap – keep the scissors and glue handy.

A little gift box can be made within minutes.

Take a clean, empty tin and decorate the top by gluing on a strip of ribbon, wrapping paper or even coloured tape.

Stickers or pieces of felt can be used to decorate the tin even more.

When you are done with the top of the tin and the decorating, it’s time to finish the product by gluing gift wrap or ribbon to the bottom of the tin.

This easy-to-make container can be used for sweets, small toys, puzzle pieces, screws or buttons.

Another interesting and enjoyable gift idea for children is to give their mothers a cookie mix kit.

Make it a simple recipe and add all the dry ingredients together.

Place this in a plastic bag or container and attach a hand-written label, clearly marked Mother, but don’t forget to attach the baking instructions.

The labels can be decorated with crayons or markers and even beautiful ribbons.

Anything can be done with an empty tin.

It can be used as a flower pot, pens and pencil holders, and a candle holder.
