This initiative will not only be focusing on women, but on men too.
It will put a spotlight on what residents should look out for on their bodies which can be warning signs of cancer.
Residents will also be taught on how to conduct breast self-assessments, how men can monitor urinal patterns, identify changes on their bodies and the importance of visiting health care facilities for check-ups and tests.
The campaign will take place at the Tsakane Old Age Home on October 23, from 9am to 3.30pm, and the session is open to the public.
