Well wishes for Orlando Pirates in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup

Kwatsaduza – On Sunday, Orlando Pirates played against Al Ahly in Egypt in the second leg of the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup, winning 4-3.

This thriller performance put Orlando Pirates through to the final, as they managed to win 5-3 on aggregate.

For this success, supporters of various local teams have congratulated the team for this success and wished them well for the final lap.

Rangwane Makabutlane (47) from the Orlando Pirates Springs supporters branch says he was happy to see many soccer lovers, including those who are not Pirate fans, showing their support.

“The boys have played well and have said they are doing this for their late goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.

“I wish them all the best and we know that they can do it.

“We are behind them till the end,” says Makabutlane.

He thanked the country and other teams for their support.

Teka Matsipa (40) from the Langaville Kaizer Chiefs branch congratulated the Bucs for making it this far.

“We hope that they will win the final, and not just for themselves, but for the country.

“Kaizer Chiefs first won it in 2001 while it was still the Mandela Cup, so we look forward to seeing Orlando Pirates do the same.

“Halala Buca Buca”, he says.

Cornalius Mokobane (38) from Tembisa, of Bloemfontein Celtics, says that Orlando Pirates are representing the country and they are proud of them.

“We support them and wish them well.

“They should come back with the cup,” he says.

Orlando Pirates will meet Etoile du Sahel in the two-legged final next month.
