No win for Geluksdal and Deep Level
KwaThema – The Tsamaya League game between Geluksdal and KwaThema’s Deep Level ended in a 1-1 draw.
The game was played on Sunday at the Tlakula Grounds in KwaThema.
The beginning of the match saw a lot of missed goal opportunities from Deep Level.
There could have many goals if only the strikers managed to utilise every single shot on target.
Geluksdal proved to have a really good defence, however, and every chance Deep Level had to score, Gelukdal came in and thwarted them.
Coming into the second half, Geluksdal appeared to be hungrier for the win and launched an attack
It wasn’t easy to score as Deep Level‘s goalkeeper was alert and managed to stop all the balls that came his way.
The match reached the last few minutes and spectators guessed the game would end in a 0-0 draw, but Geluksdal’s George Zondi (38) scored an unexpected goal putting Geluksdal in the lead.
Just a few seconds before the referee could blow the whistle to end the game, Deep Level’s Daniel Motswagae (43) netted a goal in the nick of time ending the match in a 1-1 draw.
