Zest thrash Tsakane Hot Spurs
Kwathema - The Kwatsaduza Netball League kicked off last Saturday, at Bulithando Park, in KwaThema.
The league has 13 teams from the Kwatsaduza and Geluksdal areas, which consist of age groups from the u/13 to u/17.
League games will be played at the various locations every Saturday.
On Saturday, the Zest’s u/17 team played against the Tsakane Hot Spurs u/17s in a very fast paced match.
Zest proved to be too fast for the Spurs, as they were moving the ball to the shooting circle, seconds after the referee blew the whistle.
In the first half, Zest were thrashing Tsakane Hot Spurs and the first half ended at 9-4, with Zest leading.
Even though Spurs tried to catch up in the second half, Zest were on a roll, just shooting the ball into the net.
They won the game with a pleasing 28-10 score.
