You are not alone

Are you subjected to a lot of stress and pressure which leaves you feeling overwhelmed and unhappy?

The African Reporter has partnered with LifeLine Ekurhuleni to bring the youth of Kwatsaduza and Daveyton “You are not alone”, an ”agony aunt” column to which members of the public can write in, share their problems and receive counselling.

Once a problem has been received, a professional counsellor from LifeLine will read and assess it and then counsel the writer.

The letters, together with the reply from the counsellor, will be posted on the African Reporter’s website at www.africanreporter.co.za, and some will be placed in the newspaper once a month.

Members of the public who are in need of help can email their problems to tmuteme@caxton.co.za, or inbox the African Reporter on Facebook.

Topics can range from exam stress to problems at work, relationship problems, etc.

Topics of a sexual nature will not be accepted.
