African All Stars head to the play-offs

Kwatsaduza - After 30 tough games, African All Stars have been crowned the ABC Motsepe League champions.

This followed the team’s 2-0 win against Alexander United at the Balfour Stadium over the weekend.

During the 2014/215 season, the team won 21 games, lost two and seven resulted in a draw.

Team official Atwell Sijadu says this year’s league was not easy.

“The fact that the champions were crowned on the last day of the league shows that all the teams were playing for a win,” says Sijadu.

He says the team is now training hard in preparation for the national play-offs, which will be held in Kimberly from July 26 until August 2.

Sijadu explains that if the team wins the play-offs, they will play in the National First Division League next season.
