Angels win against Lions
KwaThema - The Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) U/15 friendly game between Tornado Lions and Happy Angels ended with a score 4-2 to Angels on Saturday.
The game was played at the KwaThema Sports Complex where supporters came in numbers to support their teams.
The Angels tried to score 15 minutes into the game but were unable to do so as the defence of the Lions seemed to be strong.
However, Sunnyboy Mahlangu of the Angels scored a spectacular goal against the Lions when a gap was open on the defence.
The Lions tried their best to score an equaliser but failed dismally as the defence of Angels did not open any chances.
The first half ended with players still on fire for a goal.
In the second half, the Lions came back with determination and Linamandla Diko scored two goals against the Angels, putting his team in the lead.
The Lions’ excitement ended when Angels’ Pholoso Mabulele scored two goals within 20 minutes in the second half.
The last goal of the game was put behind the net by the Angels’ Siyabonga Ntambo when granted a penalty.
The referee blew the whistle to show it was the end of the match.
Angels won the game by 4-2 against the Lions.
