Jeremiah competes in Mr Commonwealth 2015

Jeremiah Adams (34) is a 2015 Mr Commonwealth South Africa semi finalist.

He is one of the top 24 contestants who are now working to ensure that they get a place to be in the top 12 finalists who will be fighting to be crowned the winner.

The KwaThema resident is currently working on a challenge of getting involved in charity work.

One of the charity organisations that he is involved with is the Little Steppers in KwaThema.

He says his love for modelling and fashion is the reason he decided to enter the competition.

He says his dream is to start his own charity home which he will name in honour of his late mother Sibongile.

“My mother had love for the orphans and ran an orphanage centre and I believe that since she died I have the responsibility to take over,” says Adams.

In order for Adams to qualify to be in the top 12 contestants to take part on the final stage of the competition expected to be held at the end of August, he first needs to host a fundraising event and donate to the needy.

“In order to be considered as someone who can be a good ambassador for the country, you need to prove that you have the ability to put a smile on the faces of the poor,” Adams says.
