Seventeen illegal immigrants and three suspected illegal miners were arrested during a special SAPS operation in Eastvale on Friday.
The Springs police conducted this operation close to Gold One.
Captain Johannes Ramphora, spokesman of the Springs SAPS, says they also ceased a bakkie with illegal mining equipment and an undisclosed amount of precious metals.
The three illegal miners were inside the bakkie when the police arrested them.
The 17 illegal immigrants, arrested during the operation and the three illegal miners were taken to the Springs police cells.
These men will remand in custody until their first court appearance.
