Taking learning to a higher level

The Ntsane Masiloane School Enrichment Programmes has a boarding school.

The programme was started to ensure that learners get the best results in mathematics, science and accounting at the end of the year.

However, things have changed for the better for the learners, as the programme now offers extra lessons in all the subjects they study at their schools.

According to the programme’s founder, Ntsane Masiloane, he started a boarding school in June this year, to ensure that learners can pay full attention to their studies.

The boarding school is in Pollak Park and has 20 Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners.

“It is true that, when they are studying at home, the learners are sometimes disturbed while trying to focus on their studies, prepare for their tests and sometimes the final exams,” says Masiloane.

He adds that the advantage of learners studying at the same venue is that they help each other to understand the work where they struggle as far as their studies are concerned.

Masiloane explains that the school is also faced with challenges, such as not having enough food, and he appeals to companies to help to sponsor the new boarding school.

“I urge businesses to invest in the education of our children, not only by providing them with food, but also by providing them with bursaries to further their studies after matric,” he concludes.
