Thabiso, the gospel artist
He is a born again Christian, a father and a husband.
He grew up in Villias in the Free State and moved to Duduza after completing his primary education and did his secondary education at Reshogofaditshwe Secondary School in Brakpan.
Thabiso is a father to his son and daughter; he claims that his love for them is not shakeable not even by difficult situations that he comes across in life.
His love for gospel started at the age of 15.
He says at that age he started to work with Rebecca Malope during the school holidays until 2001 when he worked with the South African queen of gospel full-time as one of her backing vocalists.
“The experience that I got from working with Rebecca is one that made me the best gospel artist that I am today,” said a proud Thabiso, adding that he also worked with one of the most loved gospel artists, Sechaba, before becoming Lundi Tyamara’s manager for three years.
In 2010, Thabiso released his first album titled Msindisi that was followed by his second album called Tesimony in 2012.
After the release of his second album, Thabiso opened Beyond Measures Music Productions, his own recording label.
“My new CD titled I come to you with 12 songs under my own recording label was released last week,” Thabiso said.
Because of his love for the community, Thabiso started the “help me help them” charity project.
The project is aimed at helping the needy within the community.
“I knock on different companies’ doors and ask for food parcels, donations and school uniforms and I also raise funds to donate to the needy,” he said.
His new CD will be available in all music stores from Monday.
