‘My future is bright’

The up and coming entrepreneur from Tsakane says he believes that he has a brighter tomorrow.

Siphesihle Kumalo (19) from Tsakane Extension one is a self-made, up and coming entrepreneur.

He did his primary school education at Welgedacht Primary School, went to Geluksdal Secondary School and is now studying mould making at the Ekurhuleni East Collage’s KwaThema Campus.

Siphesihle says he is different from the youth of his age as he describes himself as a fighter who never gives up.

He says being born in this country after apartheid allows him to create his own opportunities instead of having to wait for others to create these for him.

When he was 18 years old, Siphesihle got involved in poetry, giving the young township poets a platform to showcase their skills.

He put together the Kwatsaduza poets documentary that will ensure the poets’ exposure.

Chasing after his dream to become a well established entrepreneur and owner of a clothing manufacturing company, Siphesihle is busy with his brand,’Mogul’.

He says he will consider himself as having achieved his dream when he sees his label on T-shirts, beanies and jackets that will be available during this year’s summer time.

“I know that I have the potential to fulfil my dream and I work hard to ensure that when I achieve it, it also brings hope to the other young entrepreneurs,” says a confident Siphesihle.

He encourages the youth to take the first step and start working towards building their better tomorrow.

He believes that those who sit on the townships’ street corners and beg for money from the people passing by are wasting time instead of making a move that will change their lives for the best.
