Imbizo for men

Men are invited to discuss the issues that affect them and the community

Imbizo Yamadoda Men’s Movement invites men to attend a discussion session.

According to Pastor Vusi Magagula, founder of the movement, men are also victims of domestic violence and most of the victims still feel ashamed to speak out about the abuse that they experience in their homes or from the community.

He says, on the day men will be discussing other issues that they are faced with, such as unemployment, children and women abuse, skills development and fighting against drug addiction.

Past Magagula says during the session they will also discuss the role of a man in his family.

“The session will be open to men from 18 years old upwards,” explains Past Magagula.

The session will be held tomorrow (Saturday) outside the Tsakane Community Hall at 1pm.
