Abinar Mokoena buries the Skomboys

Skomboys wished for a place to hide following their defeat against the WorldXI

The Tsamaya League outstanding game between the Skomboys and World XI was like a training game to the top goal scorer, Abinar Mokoena.

The soccer fans who were not at Tlakula Ground on Sunday missed the sad beating of the Skomboys by the World XI. The lateness of the World XI players worked in favour of the Skomboys, as a free goal kick given to them as the punishment to the World XI, was the only goal that the team scored.

The Skomboys’ excitement did not last for more than 20 minutes as Wandi Tiyuti of World XI put the ball behind the net.

World XI’s Abinar Mokoena did what he does best and scored the second goal for his team.

Skomboys did not seem worried about Abinar’s goal, not knowing that Abinar was ready to embarrass them by scoring more goals.

To extend the lead even further, Thabiso Tsotetsi came with a third goal. The end of the first half rescued the Skomboys, giving them time to come up with a new energy and plan to prevent more goals being scored by their opponents.

Scoring and attacking became a very high mountain to climb for the Skomboys as Polani Nhleko scored the fourth goal for the World XI.

Another three goals scored by Abinar made it impossible for the Skomboys to equalise. The game ended with an overall score of 7-1.
