SAB League’s top goal scorer

Motsamai 'Ballack' Mazibuko(25) of Ayoba/Movers is the SAB League's top goal scorer

Ballack joined Ayoba five years ago and is still focusing on his football career.

He already has 14 goals registered under his name in the current SAB league’s season.

The KwaThema born football star in the making says since the age of six years he dreamt of becoming a soccer star one day.

He says during his primary school days, he was playing for his school’s A soccer team. Since his early age Ballack says he never lost his focus but worked hard towards fulfilling his dream.

“Today I play on the semi professional league and will keep on pushing hard until I make it to the professional level,” says Ballack.

He says one of the people that inspires him in soccer is his coach, Innocent Mayoyo who played on a professional level.

“Mayoyo’s achievement made me realise that hard work and dedication guarantee one’s success irrespective of where you come from,” says motivated Ballack.

Speaking about his performance in the SAB League’s games, Ballack says the 14 goals that he has already scored are not enough to him.

He says he is working hard to ensure that in every game that he plays he puts a goal behind the net.

“It is the fact that no player has many goals as I have, but I still need to put more effort and will only say that I worked hard when I manage to score at least one goal per game,” he says.

He then encouraged other up and coming soccer stars to always be eager to grow. He believes that discipline and no use of drugs are the ingredients that soccer players need in order to succeed.
