A member of the community, who visited the KwaThema Police Station at around 9am noticed a human body lying on the ground in the station’s parking area and notified the police.
According to KwaThema’s police spokesman, Captain Ntsane Ntsane, a man, estimated to be between 55 and 57 years old was declared dead by the paramedics on their arrival on the scene.
He says the deceased was wearing a green jacket, white T-shirt, navy blue trousers, black boots and socks.
The body was later taken to the Springs mortuary by the forensic pathology team for a post mortem.
The body did not have any visible injuries and a case has been opened for further investigation.
