Artists invited to expo in Tsakani
The Kwatsaduza Multidiscipline Cultural Creative Capacity Building Expo will consist of progressive industry discussions.
Tsakani – Umncedisi Holdings will host an information session for artists and musicians on September 24.
“We will talk about how Covid-19 affected our work, and if the future looks good for artists in Ekurhuleni.
“Artists need help to understand that they are a business, and how to run it. There are a lot of factors involved in making your craft work for you,” explained Vusi Nhlapo, the event marketing manager.
There will be industry professionals, local government representatives and media personnel.
The organisers also created a platform for artist to exhibit their work. The event will take place from 10:00 at Mnini’s Café, 1303 Mbulu Street, Tsakani.
