Health and education sectors have a sports day
A sports day for teachers and health workers was held at Pholosong.
Tsakani – The health and education sectors around Brakpan met for a sports day at the Pholosong grounds on Friday.
According to the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) Brakpan BEC member responsible for Sports, Arts and Culture (SAC), Landiwe Mswete, the programme was for the sectors’ members to keep fit and get to know each other while strengthening relations in these sectors.
The teams were SADTU Brakpan, Nokuthela Ngwenya CHC (Dunnottar), San Michelle Home (Withok) and Pholosong Hospital.
The SADTU Brakpan male team came third in soccer, while the women came first in netball. Mswete said they would release the dates for the top three teams’ games soon.
