Kwa-Thema resident Tshepo Mashiyane says his walk with God helped him discover his true identity. In turn, he wants to help others do the same.
He is the founder of Ultimate Worship, through which he hopes to reach out to the world. He spoke to the African Reporter about his book.
Tell us more about your book
The name of the book is Find Your Suitable Companion God’s Way. This book consists of general patterns that deal with the revelation of marriage from the roots, the roots being how to find the one chosen by God for you, the one through whom God would reveal Himself to you perfectly, and through that reveal to you how you’re meant to walk with God shoulder to shoulder.
This book is meant to help you not only know God as your Heavenly Father but also build a Father-son, Father-daughter relationship with God, which is why Jesus taught that we should pray to our Father, who is in heaven.
Therefore, this book is about trusting God regarding everything in our lives, particularly our marriages; we have to allow God to be the foundation and all in our marriages.
What inspired you to write it?
I wrote this book because the Spirit of God led me to write it. The Spirit of God started revealing the mysteries of the Bible to me in 2000, and in 2006, the revelations I received from the Holy Spirit were so many I was forgetting some of them. That is when I received instructions from the Spirit of God to start writing.
What are your hopes and dreams now that the book is published?
I hope everyone will get a copy of this book and study it until they can understand the Bible in a way that would help them to walk with God shoulder to shoulder.
My dream is for God’s will to be done on earth as it is done in heaven since God has called us to the most intimate relationship with Him. God has called the church to walk with Him and to live with Him as the first church lived with Him.
What part of the book was the most fun to write?
The chapters I can say are outstanding for me and that I enjoyed writing are The Profile and Other Parts of the Profile. When I wrote these two chapters, it was as if God took me to the future and revealed to me my life, and I saw the joy God blessed me with. God used these two chapters to reveal how blessed I am to be chosen as God’s tool to bring this book to His children.
What is the hardest part of your writing process?
When I began writing this book, I had not fully embraced my identity in Jesus, so I wanted people to validate everything God said to me.
So, God had to fight me for me. I mean, God had to make sure I look at Him as my Heavenly Father for me to have a Father-son relationship with Him. That was so I could receive His word as my identity because I learnt to look at God for validation.
