Eyethu Badminton Development Club opens its doors for people with disabilities

Para badminton is a recognised category sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton South Africa.

Kwatsaduza – Eyethu Badminton Development Club in collaboration with Masihlangane Disability Organisation hosted the People with Disabilities Games at Monty Motloung Hall (Duduza) on Friday.

Para badminton is a recognised category sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton South Africa.

The sole aim for the games is to select players to form a para badminton Eyethu team. Out of 34 participants who attended, only six were identified for review.

The games were coordinated by coaches Solomon Siloana, Collen Mtembu, Angel Kubheka and Mbali le Roux.

The teams practise at the Duduza Multi Purpose Centre from 15:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday.
