Ace Auto Ayoba U17s fight to win regional league

Ace Auto Ayoba sits in second place.

Kwatsaduza – The Ace Auto Ayoba Academy U17 team is fighting hard to be crowned winners of the Ekurhuleni Development League.

The team is sitting in second position with 32 points, having played 14 games. Birch Acres FC is hogging the first position and has collected 34 points, having played 16 games thus far.

With the two points difference, the team feels they have worked hard to win the log.

The team’s technical director, Tshepo Nkabinde, said the team has two matches left, and if they win both, they stand a better chance.

“Even though we are not undermining our opponents, we are confident that the team will collect enough points in their upcoming games on the weekend,” he said.

Meanwhile, the U15 team is in fifth position, having played 14 games and collecting 21 points.

At the weekend, the U15s and U17s will lock horns with ST Frusquin FC at Bedfordview High School. The U15s will kick off at 11:00, while the U17s will play at 12:30.
