In loving memory

In 1986, she established a school of ministries for abomama in Kwa-Thema in Thembelisha, where she taught abomama in ministries to become leaders of tomorrow.

Deceased: Emma Zwane, born on January 1, 1932, in Mpumalanga, died on October 8 after a long illness.
Zwane’s family resided in Payneville when she was young. She moved to Kwa-Thema in 1970 after getting married.

Community: In 1977, she founded a Zion Christ church called Umuzi oyingcwele, which grew into several branches as far as Siyabuswa in Mpumalanga.

In 1986, she established a school of ministries for abomama in Kwa-Thema in Thembelisha, where she taught abomama in ministries to become leaders of tomorrow.

On her journey, she started a group called Abomama Bomthandazo, and was solely responsible for community work and visits to hospitals (Pholosong and Fast East Rand), orphanages and prisons for post-traumatic stress sessions. She further established a donation drive to give to the needy knitted blankets once a year.

Family: She is survived by a daughter, two sons, two siblings, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral: The service is on Saturday from 06:30 to 08:30 at Assemblies of God on Ncwadi Street in Kwa-Thema, and the cortège will proceed to the Vlakfontein Cemetery.
