Wrestlers ready for national championships
The nationals take place in Pretoria on Saturday.
Tsakani – Nine players from the Battleground Wrestling Club were selected to be part of the Ekurhuleni Wrestling Association because they will compete in the national championships on Saturday in Pretoria.
Head coach Mpho Madi said, “I wish them all very successful nationals and we hope to take more wrestlers to the nationals next year.”
The team manager, Mpumelelo Mjoli, said he was proud of the qualifying wrestlers and was sure they were ready to wrestle in the event.
In addition, Snethemba Chosana will represent the club at the Noordvaal competition in the 48kg category.
