Tsakane Youth Choristers need help with transport and uniforms
Choir members to compete in Bloemfontein.
Tsakani – The Tsakane Youth Choristers will participate in a Lengau Choral Music Association (LECMA) competition in Bloemfontein on October 14 and 15.
The choir needs transport, and uniforms to participate in Bloemfontein and look good on stage.
The choir’s director and conductor, Dumisani Dladla, said they will be hosting the Umanyano fundraising concert on Saturday, and hope the funds they raise will be enough to cover their accommodation costs.
“Our choir consists of young people who are unemployed or are still in school. It will therefore be unfair of us to expect them to pay for their own logistics. Hence, we need help,” Dladla said.
They will hold the fundraising concert at the Tsakane Old Age Centre on Saturday from 11:00. They will sell tickets at the door and different music groups will be performing.
