Family and colleagues organised Phindile Nkosi’s 52nd birthday
Phindile Nkosi owns four Unjani Clinics.
Kwa-Thema – Nursepreneur and clinic owner Sister Phindile Nkosi, who owns four Unjani Clinics and a baby clinic, celebrated her 52nd birthday by remembering her roots and ploughing back into her former school, Zamani Primary School, last Thursday.
She was flanked by her husband, daughter, sisters and colleagues from the Unjani clinic.
Her sisters, Prisca and Ntombi Nkosi and Phindile’s colleagues planned the day as a form of gratitude for being a great person in their lives.
“Phindile has been a pillar of strength to everyone and the community. Her support and contributions are noticed and appreciated,” said Prisca.

MD of Eluthandweni Maternity Clinic and Phindile’s friend, Nonina Diphoko, joined the celebrations, sharing a motivational talk with the learners. She emphasised issues of bullying, hygiene and puberty.
Phindile did her Grade Five to Seven, then known as Standard Three to Five at the school.
She shared her fond memories with the learners, motivated them and gave them gifts of school uniforms and toiletries at the special assembly organised for the celebration.
She said that to this day, Zamani remains the school of excellence.

To the learners’ delight, all learners at the school received party packs added to a special birthday cake for the staff members.
Phindile also had a heartfelt request as her birthday gift to adopt one learner from the school. She will care for this learner’s needs throughout.
School principal Selby Nkosi said, “We are grateful as a school to share a birthday with such a remarkable woman, reminding all ex-pupils who have made it in the corporate world to return and plough back, making a difference and adding value to the school.”
He added that on behalf of the school, he would like to express gratitude to the family and wishes Phindile the best in her endeavours.
