Taverns help each other grow through sport
Players rotate through the taverns weekly
Tsakani – The Old Crocks tavern owners and teams were at it once again on Sunday, at the Ext Six Malandela Ground in Tsakani, when they faced each other in their matches.
The results were:
- Lettia’s Inn 6 – 1 Beccer’s Tavern
- Jacob’s Tavern 2 – 5 Mhlongo’s Tavern
- Moses Tavern 2 – 1 Bafana Banana
- Etshanini United 1 – 2 Masgodi Inn
- Mhlanga’s Tavern 3 – 1 Madisenke’s Inn
After the games, the teams will then head to one of the taverns for a chillas session which rotates weekly after the games.
Founder of the games Nonhlanhla Kumalo said they are still rotating as they support each other as businesses and help each other grow.
The games will continue on Sunday.
