Help Kwa-Thema NPO send addicts to rehab
The organisation has helped many addicts claim back their lives from drugs, alcohol, and other substances.
Kwa -Thema – Reagile Community Development, an NPO, beseeched local businesses for funds to admit more addicts to rehab.
The organisation helps drug addicts around Kwatsaduza who want to kick their addiction get admitted to various organisations across the province.
Natasha Masike, Nobuhle Gama and Mbali Nkosi established the NPO in 2017. They wanted to make a difference in the community by giving addicts a second chance to rebuild their lives.
In six years, the organisation has helped hundreds of addicts claim back their lives. Masike said they need sponsors to help disadvantaged addicts who cannot afford rehabilitation.
“One of the challenges we face is the lack of funds for the administration fees at the rehabilitation centres.

“Many addicts are unemployed, and their families have cut them off, so we often have to raise funds for their admission,” she explained.
According to her, sponsors would also gain from helping the organisation.
“Our organisation has a Public Benefit Organisations (PBO) number that will benefit any sponsors. We also offer them a letter of appreciation showing that they helped,” added Masike.
She said they have about 50 individuals ready to go to rehab but do not have the funds for the administration fees.
