Kwatsaduza’s Ayabonga to host Gongo Uprising for upcoming artists

Kwatsaduza- Ayabonga Mbaca, known as SmallCoffee, will host an event, Gongo Uprising, for upcoming artists from across the metro.
Speaking to African Reporter, Ayabonga explained that the reason behind the event was inspired by the struggles he faced in his career when he was starting out.
“I was inspired by my own struggles. This initiative is to support the upcoming artists to the next level and help them climb the ladder.
“I felt the need to start a movement that also supports them and gives them a platform to showcase their musical talent,” he said.
He added that this event has become the ultimate hotspot for those who are trying to make it in the industry.
This has resulted in them getting recognition locally and attaining more followers.
Since the first event, the organisers have enjoyed great support and hope that this year’s edition will attract more support.
“This year I am taking it to the next level and I hope everyone all over Ekurhuleni shows love by coming to support their uprising stars,” he said.
