Mothers Union donates to charities

Kwa-Thema – After a fundraiser fun walk last month, the Far East Rand Archdeaconry Mothers Union donated to three organisations.

The union visited three charities and Lefa-Ifa Secondary School last Wednesday and Friday to make their donations.

They donated sanitary towels, cosmetics and school bags to Lefa-Ifa; groceries, cosmetics and school bags to Kids Haven in Benoni; and bags, umbrellas and cosmetics to people with albinism.

The diocesan secretary of the Highveld in the union, Nontsikelelo Motau, said, “The generosity of the donors means everything to us and the community we serve.

“We know they had a lot of choices when it came to donating, and we are grateful they chose to donate to our cause.”
