They boast a soup kitchen, while also providing care for orphans, addicts, elders, HIV+ people and those who have dropped out of school.

The centre director, Buti Maseko, said: “We only have one sewing machine which is not enough as we use it for school jerseys and uniforms, clothes for orphans and unemployed parents.”

Maseko said winter is fast approaching and there will soon be a high demand for warm clothing.

The centre would appreciate donations of sewing machines, which they believe will also assist in job creation, old clothes, blankets, toys, groceries and a container in which they can keep food and utensils safe.
