Man stoned to death in Kwa-Thema

Kwa-Thema – The body of a 17-year-old was found along Mndebele Street on Saturday.

He was certified dead by paramedics at the scene.

Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Constable Nkululeko Magudulela said the deceased has been identified as Sibisiso Tapelo Nkosi from Ext Four.

“He sustained head injuries from an unknown object. The motive is suspected to be robbery as his cellphone, hat and shoes were taken,” he said.

Police are urging anyone with information about the identity and whereabouts of the suspects to come forward.

“Information can be left as an anonymous tip-off through the police toll-free line 10111.”
